About the Reunion

This summer, the Dunbar-Walker family is coming together in the heart of our nation's capital for a celebration like no other. From the youngest to the wisest among us, this reunion is about reconnecting with the people who shaped us, sharing stories across generations, and creating new memories that will last a lifetime.


Expect incredible home-cooked food and catering, cold drinks on warm summer days, the best music to keep us dancing, and most importantly—the kind of laughter and love that only family can bring. Whether it's been months or years since we last gathered, this is our time to come home to each other.

Arrival Day & Welcome Mixer

The reunion kicks off as family rolls in from near and far. Join us for an evening of light refreshments, great music, and the joy of seeing familiar faces. Catch up, hug it out, and settle in for an amazing weekend ahead.

Family Fun Day

Get ready for a full day of excitement! From group activities and games for all ages to sightseeing around D.C., there's something for everyone. We close out the day with a legendary BBQ cookout and a DJ to keep the energy going all night.

Grand Family Banquet

Our grand finale—a formal dinner where we honor our family with awards, heartfelt speeches, and a night of dancing. It's our chance to celebrate what makes us special and send each other off with full hearts and beautiful memories.
